Dynamo waive Houston native Bradley Bourgeois

The Dynamo have waived rookie defender Bradley Bourgeois.

Bourgeois, 22, was signed as a Homegrown Player in December after concluding his college career at the University of Tulsa. He had not appeared in any games for the Dynamo this season, only in the BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup game.

Bourgeois played in six games for Rio Grande Valley FC, the Dynamo's USL affiliate. He scored his first professional goal with the Toros.

Dynamo coach Wade Barrett said he believes it is his job to help the players progress in their careers. He added that if he does not see an immediate path forward for a player he wants the player to be able to progress somewhere else.
