The Houston Dynamo signed versatile 18-year-old defender/midfielder Ian Hoffmann to a First Team contract effective January 1, 2021, the club announced today. Hoffman will be added to the club’s USL Championship hybrid affiliate roster and spend the remainder of 2020 with Rio Grande Valley FC, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.
"Ian is a talented and promising young player who brings valuable European and youth national team experience to our club," said Dynamo Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Jordan. "Tab and our coaching staff are very familiar with Ian's quality on the field and character off the field.
