Facing an uphill climb to the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions League competition, the Dynamo travel to Monterrey, Mexico to face Tigres UANL in the second leg of their quarterfinal match-up at 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Dynamo played Tigres in a scoreless match through most of last Tuesday's first leg in Houston. But Tigres struck twice in a four-minute window, snatching the win and an even more decisive 2-0 advantage on aggregate late.
In a competition where away scores serve as the tiebreaker, Tigres' two goals in Houston create a difficult obstacle for the Dynamo to overcome--and even if Houston holds a 2-0 lead at the end of regulation, the result will be decided in a penalty shootout.
