The Houston Dynamo and Dash named John Walker as the clubs' new president at a press conference at BBVA Compass Stadium on Thursday.
Walker, who spent the last three years as the executive vice president for business operations for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, will oversee all aspects of the soccer club's business operations including the Houston Sports Park and fostering the organization's relationship with youth and affiliate clubs.
"I'm proud to welcome John Walker to the Houston Dynamo and Dash. He is a highly respected leader in the sports industry whose breadth and depth of experience in multiple sports, leagues, and areas of the business will help our club continue to grow," Dynamo and Dash majority owner Gabriel Brener said in a press release.
