The Houston Dynamo Academy returned to action over the weekend as every age group faced Solar Soccer Club on Saturday at Houston Sports Park. The U-17 and U-18 teams had double duty as they closed the weekend with back-to-back victories over Rio Grande Valley FC on Sunday.
“With matches on both Saturday and Sunday, every player in the Academy had the opportunity to play 90-120 minutes in competitive matches,” Dynamo Academy Director Paul Holocher said. “It was good to see our teams face different challenges, formations, and ways of playing and still remain consistent to our game model, our ideas and our way of playing.
