Dash’s Kealia Ohai cleared to play after summer knee injury

Eight months after she suffered the worst injury of her career, Dash forward Kealia Ohai finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Ohai, the club's all-time leading scorer, has been cleared for all soccer activities following the rehabilitation of the ACL in her left knee, which she tore during a game on June 24.

The last seven months have been grueling, but Ohai said she is healthy and in good spirits.

"At the beginning of the ACL (rehab) process, it is so slow," she said. "Improvements take months. Toward the end, almost every week you start feeling better and better.
