None of the Dash players are fitting themselves for championship rings or even guaranteeing a playoff berth in year one, but after the first day of preseason they’re confident they have a chance to accomplish all of that under new coach Vera Pauw.
If anyone knows that the first four years of the franchise have been largely forgettable it is original Dash player Kealia Ohai. Ohai said she already has noticed a major difference with Pauw in charge.
“The thing I am most excited about is that Vera has a very specific philosophy about what she wants and how she wants it,” Ohai said.
