Houston Dash captain and forward Rachel Daly will join English club West Ham United FC on loan, both clubs announced today. The England international is set to play in the FA Women’s Super League through December of 2020.
“I’m over the moon to be back in England. I’ve always wanted to play in the Barclays WSL and what a year to be a part of it”, said Daly. “I’m excited to be playing for West Ham as I think it’s a top club with massive potential. Being closer to my family is something that I’ll cherish over the next few months after being away from them for eight years – it has been difficult.
