The Houston Dynamo were on the road on Wednesday night to take on the New York Red Bulls. Both sides were rotating their starting players this game with several players getting their first starts of the season. It was a gamble that would work out in the Red Bulls favor.
Alberth Elis had a chance to score early on but was denied by Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles. Memo Rodriguez crossed the ball into the box to Elis who headed the ball down. Taking a shot while surrounded by defenders Elis wasn’t able to get enough power on it and Robles was able to stop the ball before it crossed the goal line.
