The Dash have an extra special reason to be thankful today. One of their most influential players has confirmed she is coming back to Houston next season.
Brazilian midfielder Andressa will sign a new contract with the club at about 7 p.m. Thursday on her Facebook live feed. The Dash will share the feed on their Facebook and Twitter pages.
Thursday's signing ends months of waiting for the club and coach Randy Waldrum.
Two days before the Dash played their final regular season game on Sept. 25, Andressa said she would take some time with her family in Brazil to decide whether she would come back to the Dash or pursue a more lucrative opportunity in Europe or Asia.
