Alejandro Fuenmayor has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee. The decision comes after a serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent during the 14th minute of the Dynamo’s match against New York City FC. The center back was issued a yellow card during the game for his actions.
The suspension means that the Dynamo will be without Fuenmayor for Wednesday night’s game against Real Salt Lake and their Saturday, June 2 game against the Montreal Impact. The Dynamo are already thin along the back line due to injuries.
