Houston Dynamo defender A.J. DeLaGarza was named to Guam’s National Team for two 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the Guam Football Association announced early this morning.
Guam will begin its qualification efforts for the 2022 FIFA World Cup when it takes on Bhutan in a two-leg matchup. Guam will first travel to Bhutan on Thursday, June 6 at 7 a.m. CDT at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan. The second leg of the matchup will be played on Tuesday, June 11 at 12:15 a.m. CT at the Guam National Football Stadium in Hagåtña, Guam.
DeLaGarza has earned 12 caps for the Guam national team, including six starts for his country during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign.
