The Houston Dynamo Academy opened their second week of MLS Next activity with a 2-0 victory for the U-13 squad over Austin FC at Houston Sports Park on Saturday. Jorge ‘Lalo’ Estrada scored the first goal of the game; and a well-timed press on a goal kick led to an error and the final goal of the game from Jorge Martinez.
The U-14 Dynamo Academy squad conceded two scrappy goals in the first 10 minutes and ultimately fell to Austin FC 4-1. Sebastián Ballesteros scored the lone goal for the Dynamo after constant pressure on the Austin backline.
