My name is Scott Strickman and I am thrilled to become a member of The Crawfish Boxes team. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Houston, though I’ve been transplanted for the last 8 years across the Mid-Atlantic. I lived in Baltimore for about 4 years and vividly remember Jason Castro hitting a grand slam at Camden Yards in a completely meaningless 11-0 thrashing of the Orioles. Even though we were in the midst of a third-consecutive 100-loss season, “I was there,” proudly sporting my Roy Oswalt jersey.
I’ve been an avid follower of Houston sports since my teenage years, and I forged an unbreakable bond with the Astros during the Biggio-Bagwell era of the ‘90s.
