The Astros took to LA for their first road series of the year in a matchup with the Angels. Lance McCullers made his second start of the season.
The offense got off to a good start putting together a 4 run 2 innings thanks to a 2 run double from Kyle Tucker, a bases loaded walk to George Springer and an RBI groundout by Altuve.
McCullers ran into some trouble in the bottom of the third as the first two guys reached based and Anthony Rendon followed with an RBI single. McCullers was able to buckle down though and got out of the jam with no more runs scoring.
