Whenever Dick Farrell pitches against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he is locked in thanks to them allowing him to be taken in the expansion draft, and that’s exactly how he was today. After taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning, Farrell came away with a 2-1 win, also thanks to Rusty Staub’s first career homerun.

As a key component of the Hunter Pence trade, Houston Astros rookie Jon Singleton makes his debut with the team and makes it one to remember, homering to help lead the team to a 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
