The Houston Astros will unveil their plans on Tuesday to create an Astros Hall of Fame according to a report by Astros beat writer Brian McTaggart. This will be an extreme honor bestowed only upon the most iconic of Astros players.
President of Business Operations Reid Ryan announced that the new Hall of Fame will help consolidate all of the honors the Astros have given over the years to former players, coaches, and broadcasters in one space, which is something he has always wanted.
“The Astros have had a great, rich history of baseball and since I took this job [in 2013], I really wanted to find a way to honor those former players that have given so much to our organization,” Astros president of business operations Reid Ryan said.
