KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Royals owner David Glass had plenty of praise for the Astros before Game 1 of the American League Division Series at Kauffman Stadium.
“I’m really excited for them,” Glass said of the Astros. “They’ve got a really good young team that has come on a little faster probably than a lot of people would have suspected, but they’ve done it the right way.
“They’ve got kids coming up through their organization, and they’re going to be hard to beat.”
Glass invited former Astros owner Drayton McLane to the Division Series, but his close friend declined because of business in Washington, D.
