The 2005 World Series probably doesn’t contain too many fond memories for Astros fans as their team was swept, dropping four close games.
Some further insult has been added to their hurt courtesy of a new revelation from White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper.
Cooper told CSN Chicago that White Sox ace Mark Buehrle, summoned to pitch in relief during the marathon Game 3 that went 14 innings, had been drinking beer during the game.
