Have you ever seen a game that could’ve gone either way but you felt it should’ve been won by your team? This was one of those games. Right when everyone might’ve thought it was a matter of time for the Astros to seal the win, the Athletics tied it up and ended up winning it 2-1 on a walk-off on Saturday night.
This was a beautiful pitching-and-defense game. Lefties Framber Valdez and Sean Manaea got into a nail-biting duel. And Framber could have come out with the best part, though this isn’t a game of could.
Backed up by some defensive gems from his infield teammates, Framber was solid for the second start in a row and was in line for another victory.
