IF Bobby Wernes, the Astros 30th round pick in the 2015 draft out of the University of Arkansas, won the New York-Penn League batting title with a .346 (65x188) batting average. Wernes also posted a league-leading .434 on-base percentage and led led all 3rd basemen in fielding percentage (.976).
How good is Wernes, he's already playing at Quad Cities. It’s possible the Astros may have another later round draft pick who could make it to the Majors in a timely fashion.
That all said, you have to see this video on a play by Wernes at Arkansas.
