MLB.com picked their top 100 prospects tonight, and unlike Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus, picked not five but six Astros in their Top 100. They are, in order, J. B. Bukauskas at 97, Corbin Martin at 81, Josh James at 62, Yordan Alvarez at 44, Kyle Tucker at 8 and the top rated pitcher in the MLB group, Forrest Whitley at 7.
The top three picks overall were Eloy Jimenez at 3 , OF, White Sox, Fernando Tatis at 2, shortstop Padres, and the overall number 1 pick, Vladimir Guerrero, 3B Blue Jays.
