The Toronto Blue Jays evened the series at a game apiece, courtesy of Russel Martin's 3-run go-ahead homer in the 6th.
Heading into the 6th inning of today's ballgame, the Blue Jays had hit 10 home runs against the Astros this year, and every one of them was a solo shot. Russel Martin changed that when he drove a game-winning 3-run HR to center field against Astros rookie reliever James Hoyt.
The game started out promising for the Astros. After struggling mightily in his first 8 games in the big leagues, Bregman's single in the top of the 1st extended his on-base streak to 9 games.
