Houston Astros fans have grown to accept Kyle Tucker's departure, but that doesn't mean that the decision doesn't loom large in their minds. Tucker didn't have a great season with the Chicago Cubs in 2025, but it is hard to ignore the fact that the Astros missed the postseason while he was playing elsewhere.
Tucker's next destination won't be back to Chicago, but has been surprisingly difficult to pinpoint. Tucker is an elite talent and deserves a healthy payday, however, injury issues over the past two years in a row and had a brutal second half of 2025 make him a riskier bet than you would think.
