Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve was called up to the Majors in 2011, he has been the heartbeat of the Astros for the past seven seasons. One of the defining parts of his game has been reflected in the hit column of his baseball card for the past three seasons with 200-plus hits. He reached his fourth-straight 200-hit season on Wednesday with a single in the first inning in the Astros’ 12-2 win over the Rangers.

Altuve is the first player in MLB history with multiple 20 home run, 30 stolen base, and 200 hits seasons.
