The Houston Astros have activated George Springer from the disabled list for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Twins.
Springer hit .264 with 13 home runs and a .822 OPS in 276 at-bats prior this his hand injury.

The Astros desperately need Springer’s power, speed, and energy back in their lineup. Over the last two months since Springer has been out, the Astros offense has often looked lifeless in big stretches and there’s no doubt Springer’s ability would have given the Astros a few more wins over that period of time.
