Game Recap: Astros Closing In: Take Opener in Toronto 5-3

May you be blessed with enough.

That is what the Astros had tonight, enough.

Five runs on 10 hits, the major damage back to back home runs by Brian McCann, his first since June, and Josh Reddick, in the second inning.

Here’s the McCannonball.

And just enough pitching.

Dallas Keuchel continued his shaky pitching for the last month or so. Since August 18th his ERA before tonight has been 4.75, with a WHIP of 1.46. With three earned runs and ten base runners in five innings those numbers did not improve tonight.

And yet he gave enough, showing veteran grit and poise in the fifth when he allowed, miraculously, only one run.
