- Dallas Keuchel. He’s one of those rare pitchers who can be called a legitimate Yankee killer. He was 3-0 against them this season, including 2-0 at Yankee Stadium, after winning Tuesday night’s game in the American League wild card game. There was some concern he wouldn’t be effective after starting on three days rest for the first time. No concern. He allowed three hits and walked one with seven strikeouts in six innings.
- Jason Castro. He was often criticized before this season for his lack of communication with pitchers and is still not great blocking pitches thrown into the dirt.
