Doug Fister carved out a career as a high quality starting pitcher in Seattle and Detroit from 2009 - 2013, with an average ERA+ of 115. After he was traded to the Nationals, he had a terrific 2014 season, with an ERA of 2.41. At the age of 31, he had a disappointing season before hitting free agency.
