Michael Currie is visiting from Illinois and usually supports his hometown Cubs but said he was excited to be part of Friday night’s no hitter.
“It was awesome. They’re doing great this year,” Currie said.
He didn’t really realize how the night would turn out until the 7th inning.
“It was really exciting – super cool,” Currie said.
Dwayne Proctor couldn’t help shouting for joy after the no-hitter. He said tonight will be one of his favorite sports moments ever.
“And it’s my wife’s birthday. I couldn’t ask for more!
