KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Foul balls off his right knee, his back knee, on consecutive days left no worry Friday evening for Carlos Correa that he will miss Game 3 of the American League Division Series on Sunday.
“I’ll be able to play on Sunday,” Correa said. “There’s no doubt I’m going to be able to play on Sunday.”
Correa said the foul balls both got him at the top of the knee.
“It hurts, those guys are throwing 95-plus,” Correa said. “You barrel it right at your knee it’s going to hurt.”
Correa is 2-for-13 in three games to start his postseason career.
