The Houston Astros traded Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs this past offseason, and the immediate reaction from most of the fanbase was overwhelmingly negative. Quite frankly, the backlash was understandable. Though contract talks had met an impasse, it was difficult to see a path back to the postseason without Tucker's bat in the middle of the Astros lineup.
Fast-forward several months, and Astros fans are not only excited about the team's unexpected playoff push, but the Houston faithful is likely breathing a sigh of relief after seeing Tucker land on the injured list once again with a troubling — and predictable — setback.
