Carlos Correa says he’s ready to go for Game 3

Astros shortstop Carlos Correa’s right knee was hurting him Friday when he banged a foul ball off it for the second day in a row, but his feelings were hurt, too.

Correa came close to hooking a foul ball around the foul pole for a home run earlier in the at-bat, and that was still weighing on his mind when manager A.J. Hinch checked on him after the injury.

“He (Hinch) said ‘How are you feeling?’ and I said, ‘Man, I can’t believe that ball went foul,’” Correa said. “Obviously it hurt because it was the second time in two days I hit it in the same spot, but I was going to stay in the game no matter what.
