Houston Astros Daily Top 30 Prospects Report
Daily Updates on the Houston Astros Top 30 Prospects, as ranked by MLB.com
1. Alex Bregman, SS-- Corpus Christi Hooks (AA), was in the starting lineup, at shortstop, hitting second. He went 0-for-4 at the plate and then left the game after hitting in the eight, with infielder Mott Hyde coming in as a defensive replacement for him. It’s possible that Bregman did suffer some minor injury, but nothing has been announced.
2. A.J. Reed, 1B-- Fresno Grizzlies (AAA), had the night off again last night, with Jon Singleton getting his second straight start at first base.
