The Astros add experienced depth with minor league addition.
While the Houston Astros have been dealt the bad hand of pitching injuries to start the season, they have signed Ryan Eades for minor league depth. As an unknown name, don’t blame yourself for not hearing any chatter on this right-hander, while he hasn’t pitched since 2019.
The right-hander is a former 2013 second-round pick by the Minnesota Twins, but a bumpy minor league career with a high ERA (4.18) delayed his advancement to the big leagues.
