While rookie Preston Tucker makes a strong case to remain in the Astros’ starting lineup, Baseball America’s latest mock draft has his younger brother Kyle slated to go with the fifth overall pick to the Astros next month.
Preston and Kyle, a lefthanded hitting outfielder from Tampa’s Plant High, would love to see the Astros take Kyle with the fifth pick. The Astros also have the second pick, where Baseball America currently has Vanderbilt shortstop Dansby Swanson going in the mock draft it released Friday.
“It is exciting,” said Kyle, a consensus Top 10 prospect in this year’s draft.
