Houston Astros Minor League Notebook
The Houston Astros have set their preliminary 2016 minor league rosters for four of their affiliates: Triple A Fresno, Double A Corpus Christi, Class A Advanced Lancaster and Class A Quad Cities. The announcement was made by Astros Director of Minor League Operations Allen Rowin. The four clubs will begin regular season play on Thursday, April 7.
Additionally, Astros outfielder Evan Gattis is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Double A Corpus Christi on Thursday. Gattis was placed on the 15-day Disabled List on April 1 (backdated to March 25) due to sports hernia surgery.
