Astros Let One Slip Away to Angels, 5-4

The Astros have lost more than their share of games this year due to sloppy play and missed opportunities This was yet another one that could have been salvaged if one play had gone differently or if a few timely hits had been made

The Astros wasted numerous opportunities early in the game. In the first inning Jose Altuve and Michael Brantley led off the game with walks and Altuve scored on an Alex Bregman ground rule double. But runners on second and third with no outs were stranded when Yordan Alvarez struck out, Yuli Gurriel popped up, and Carlos Correa struck out.
