Astros Leave Cleveland on Losing Note: Fall 4-2

The Astros took two of three games in Cleveland this weekend but dropped the third game of the series today, 4-2.

It’s hard to take solace in a loss, but there was good coming from this game going forward. Mainly, Brandon Walters, AAA substitute called into emergency service to replace one of three regular Astros starters, gave the Astros every chance to win, going six innings, allowing only two runs on a second-inning Bo Naylor home run.

Naylor scattered six hits, no walks, with five strikeouts. It’s as good a performance as you’d expect from any other pitcher on the staff and good enough to win most games with just average offense.
