A game two win and 2-0 lead heading to Houston would have been nice, however that was all for naught after the bullpen couldn’t keep Friday’s lead. Their game two loss wasn’t ideal but any Astros fan would have taken a 1-1 tie headed back to Houston with their ace Dallas Keuchel on the mound.
I don’t need to remind anyone how dominant Keuchel has been this season. Keuchel last pitched in Tuesday’s AL Wild Card win over the Yankees, where he threw six shutout innings while striking out seven. Keuchel is going on normal rest this time after pitching on three days rest and throwing 87 pitches in New York.
