Astros expected to introduce OF Daz Cameron on Tuesday

Daz Cameron, the 37th overall pick in the draft and a top-10 talent who slid to the Astros, is expected to be introduced at Minute Maid Park in a press conference Tuesday, according to a person familiar with his signing process.

Cameron, the son of former big leaguer Mike Cameron, is a five-tool high school outfielder. His signing bonus is expected to be around $4 million, CBS Sports reported earlier this month.

Cameron, the Astros’ pick at No. 37 overall, was rated by many as a top-five talent in the draft but once he slipped out of the top five, he dropped lower because teams expected him to seek a higher signing bonus.
