Astros bats breakout behind a dominant Valdez to blowout the Rockies, 13-6.

Framber Valdez started for the Astros looking to extend their winning streak to 7. After a great first, he got himself into some trouble in the second inning with a few singles, but a beautiful diving double play by Correa limited the damage to one run.

Maldonado got the Astros on the board when he crushed a solo shot to left field in the third inning to make it 1-1.

In the top of the 4th inning, another injury hit the Astros. Alex Bregman sliced a ball to right field but pulled up rounding first with right hamstring discomfort.
