The Astros revealed their roster for the ALDS against the Rays, and it does contain 11 pitchers and 14 position players, as expected, though there is a surprise or two. There are no surprises for the Game One starting lineup, however, as it’s exactly what one might have predicted.
The lineup goes George Springer (CF), Jose Altuve (2B), Michael Brantley (LF), Alex Bregman (3B), Yordan Alvarez (DH), Yuli Gurriel (1B), Carlos Correa (SS), Robinson Chirinos (C) and Josh Reddick (RF).
