Astros 5, Mets 2: Gorzelanny gifts game to Houston in the 9th inning

The Houston Astros appeared on track to give up only four hits and lose 2-1 on Monday against the Mets. Enter Mets LHP Tom Gorzelanny to help the Astros win 5-2 in Port St. Lucie.

Gorzelanny walked Jon Singleton and gave up a single to Juan Centeno to put runners on first and second. A.J. Reed ripped a ball to the right side, allowing pinch runner Jack Mayfield to tie the game — Centeno was thrown going to third base.

Gorzelanny continued to struggle, allowing Alejandro Garcia and Colin Moran to reach baseball.
