SEATTLE -- The hits just kept on coming for the Astros against the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon at Safeco Field.
Houston began the fourth inning with six consecutive hits and wound up sending 10 batters to the plate and scoring five times to open up an 8-0 lead. The five runs are more than the Astros have scored in 11 of their previous 14 games.
Jose Altuve, in his second game since returning from the disabled list, got into the act with his first hit since being activated.
