Alex Bregman for All Star

No, Alex Bregman is not as good as Jose Ramirez. Not yet anyway. But he’s damn good and starting to get serious national recognition. Kris Bryant is supposedly the gold standard in third basemen, and Bregman has a higher WRC+ than he does. So who should be the second third baseman representing the American League in the All Star game?

After Ramirez there are four third baseman who can stake a claim on that second position. They are: Eduardo Escobar, Twins; Jeimar Candelario, Tigers; Matt Chapman, A’s; and Alex Bregman, Astros.
