We’re only ten games into the season for the Astros, so it makes little sense to stress too much about what has happened thus far. Yes, not every game has gone according to plan, like Monday night’s game against the Mariners. Walking the eighth and ninth hitters in the opposing team's lineup back-to-back never seems like a good idea. Those kinds of free passes tend to hurt even more than usual. In any case, it’s going to take a while for certain numbers to hold much value until we have more data to draw firmer conclusions.
With that said, we can still analyze early-season data to see if there are any trends to monitor.
