HONOLULU – Fans caught their first on-court glimpse of the 2016-17 University of Hawaii men’s basketball team at the annual Green & White Scrimmage Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Three separate 10-minute periods were played with different combinations of UH players playing with and against each other. The Green team captured the first two period,s 21-14 and 26-16. The White team claimed the final period 25-20.
With 10 newcomers there was plenty of intrigue with today’s scrimmage. Senior transfer Noah Allen led all scorers, pouring in 23 points, including four three-pointers.
