If anything, the University of Hawai’i basketball team should be well-rested and well-prepared for its next game – Sunday against Northern Arizona.
Whether or not the Rainbow Warriors are recovered – mentally and physically – from the season-opening Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic remains to be determined.
Hawai’i opened the season with three games in three nights, and went 2-1 in those games. However, it ended with a humbling 68-51 loss to North Texas in the championship game of the Rainbow Classic on Sunday.
The Warriors played all three games without injured guard Sheriff Drammeh. The 6-foot-3 senior remains “day to day” but should be ready for some game minutes.
