Justin McKoy, a 6-foot-8 forward at North Carolina, is committed to play with the University of Hawai’i basketball team for the 2023-24 season. Yes, he is transferring from THE North Carolina Tar Heels.
McKoy was a senior reserve this past season, appearing in just 11 games and recording a total of 19 points and 13 rebounds. As a junior in the 2021-22 season, he appeared in 30 games off the bench, and even received two minutes of court time in the Tar Heels’ national championship game loss to Kansas.
McKoy will be a graduate transfer with only one season of eligibility at Hawai’i.
